In addition to learning about HIV treatment and self-advocacy, the youth TEACH students also spent time developing some new digital literacy skills. As a group they learned how to use iMovie and were tasked to create videos sharing messages about HIV awareness and education with other young people. We are pleased to share the products of their hard work.
This video was created by the members of the July 2015 Youth TEACH Class. This class wanted to inspire other young people to get involved in the movement to end HIV and AIDS, whether that is by educating themselves about new prevention options (like PrEP), gaining self-acceptance, or speaking out against stigma.
This video was created by the members of the May 2015 Youth TEACH Class. The students in this class wanted to share messages of hope and inspiration, and educational resources for other young people who may have just received an HIV positive diagnosis.
